Vault

Vault is a self-initiated mobile app concept built entirely in Figma. The brief I gave myself was simple — design a finance app that doesn't feel intimidating. Most personal finance apps overwhelm users with data, aggressive colour coding, and cluttered dashboards. Vault takes the opposite approach: calm, dark, minimal, and intentional.

The design system is built on two surfaces, one accent colour, and a single typeface. Every screen follows the same 8pt spacing grid and uses Inter throughout. The green accent #22c55e appears only where it earns its place, active states, positive values, progress fills, and primary CTAs.

The project covers the full user flow across 8 screens: onboarding, sign up, dashboard, analytics, cards, savings goals, goal creation, and profile.
